If you spend any amount of time with me, you will probably walk away with an unsolicited recommendation for a podcast, lipstick color, recipe, or someone to follow on IG. I just can’t help myself. I love to share what I have been loving.
In a recent episode of one of my favorite podcasts, Vibe Check, Sam Sanders talked about how being an influencer is what kids these days cosplay instead of pretending to be a teacher or doctor like we used to back in the day.
If I were a kid today I would probably be skipping mock teaching the ABCs in favor of sharing different lipstick brands to try.
But when I really stop and think about it, the thing I like to most influence people to do is share stories, share what they love about another person, and get it recorded for others to enjoy.
