For me the answer is getting my haircut. If not for a haircut back in late 2005, I would have never met my husband, had kids, and embraced going gray in my late 30's.

P.S. I had to Google 'nautical term salutations'. Even after living in Maine for 20 plus years, thanks to an offhanded comment from my friend Jean that I might like it here, I have not picked up any sailing jargon.
