Tuesdays with Storied for October 26, 2021

Writer: Rebecca WertheimerRebecca Wertheimer

In my family, my mom is the family historian. Even when my dad was alive, she knew way more about his family tree than he ever did. She is also the keeper of the medical and mental health records for several generations past. Her recall is impressive, her knowledge expansive, and her humor makes the stories fun to listen to. Additionally, if I ever have any questions where my predisposition for anxiety, chattiness, short stature and left-handedness come from, she is at the ready with stories to share.

In your family or group of friends, are you the keeper of stories? Do people go to you to check the timeline of events or double check who was related to who? If so, consider recording these stories with me. Or, for the hard-to-shop-for family historian in your life, consider a Storied gift certificate. Unlike a new car, your stories will only appreciate in value as time drives on.

With the holidays on the horizon and supply chain issues abounding, just remember that stories are never in short supply. If you schedule now, I can record and edit your stories in time for the holidays. Gift certificates are also available for any amount.

As always, please reach out with any questions. As my mom will tell you, I am always ready for a chat.

Warmly,

becca
